Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Gear Wash provides professional care and maintenance services for the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and select sports gear markets. Founded in 2002, Gear Wash was established after the owner's personal experience in New York City on 9/11 and a resulting desire to help the Fire Services and other First Responders to manage the increasing demands on personnel health and safety. Gear Wash provides accredited services for the care of PPE gear made of advanced fibers such as Nomex, Kevlar; Crosstech and Stedair moisture barriers; advanced thermal liner fabrics, high visibility reflective tapes and other high performance safety materials.

GEAR HEALTH - Advanced and Special Situation cleaning, including disinfecting and decontamination services to remove harmful toxins, biological contaminates and other foreign agents deposited on our customers equipment causing potential long-term health problems.
GEAR SAFETY - Expert inspection and repair services to ensure that the First Responder’s and other PPE gear is working properly and is safe. We work to keep up-to-date on the latest industry cleaning and repair standards, methods and technology.
GEAR PERFORMANCE – Complete Care & Maintenance programs to help extend the life of our customer's equipment so that they may safely rely on their gear to achieve peak performance.
